A Study of Hardware Prefetch Techniques for Mpeg-Play

This talk will be a continuation of work presented last quarter in
which initial results were presented for the data cache behavior of
the multimedia benchmark, mpeg_play.  This quarter I will present
results comparing performance of various specialized prefetching
caches, including Fu, Patel, and Janssens' Stride Cache, Jouppi's
Stream Cache, and a new hybrid cache configuration that combines
useful features from each.
