A Design of Shift Counters with Arbitrary Modulus

Counters are often used in VLSI circuit design.  In this talk I will present
a design of testable and self-correcting shift counters where the modulus is
specified by the designer.  This is part of the project TOPS (Totally
Optimized Synthesis) developed at the Center for Reliable Computing.
